He Will Perfect

The One who’s voice can calm the sea
Will perfect that which concerns me

The steps I will take and the dreams I will dream
All are guided by my Heavenly Father who redeems

No one can take me from His loving hand
Nor alter His perfect plan

Though He may take me to places unknown
There is no place on earth outside the gaze of His throne

My anxious heart can rest with peace
For God will perfect that which concerns me

He will teach my soul to sing
Lift my Spirit so I soar on eagle’s wings

When tears come and my heart weeps
Jesus will be there weeping with me

For He who breathed life into me
Will perfect that which concerns me

He knows the things which will make me grow
The things I need to surrender and let go

Lord, give me the grace to walk with Thee
For Thou will perfect that which concerns me
